According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, British actor Julian Sands, who has appeared in films like .
"A Room with a View" and "Arachnophobia" as well as television shows like "24," has been identified as a hiker who has been missing since last Friday in the Mt. Baldy, California region.
Sands was reported missing on January 13 at 7:30 p.m., according to department spokesperson Gloria Huerta.
In San Bernardino County's San Gabriel Mountains, Mt. Baldy can be found.
Rescuers were on the mountain looking for Sands, but they had to put a stop to their search because of the bad weather and avalanche hazard, according to Huerta.
Due to the weather on Mount Baldy, officials are still using drones to look for Sands but are running low on other resources. Huerta threw in.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department has lately advised hikers against visiting Mt. Baldy since the weather there is still hazardous due to heavy winds and ice.
